Publishing
A post is published from the editor, or from its draft on the Posts tab. It goes to the organization’s connected Meta account: for a club, the organization’s account; for a federation, the account connected to the competition the app is set to (see Setup & Accounts).
Caption
Section titled “Caption”Caption in the editor toolbar opens the caption editor. A feed post can carry one caption for both platforms (Use same caption), or a separate caption for Instagram and for Facebook.
Stories carry no caption.
Choosing the platforms
Section titled “Choosing the platforms”The publish sheet offers Facebook and Instagram. Only the platforms the connected account covers are offered. Which ones start ticked is set under Settings → Posting; they can be changed on every post.
What gets published
Section titled “What gets published”| Post type and pages | Published as |
|---|---|
| Feed post, 1 page | An image post |
| Feed post, 2 to 10 pages | A carousel |
| Story, 1 page | A story |
A story with more than one page, or a feed post with more than 10, cannot be published until the extra pages are removed.
On publish, the app renders every page at full resolution, uploads the images, and publishes them to each chosen platform. Each platform reports its own result: a failure on one does not stop the other.
