Studio

Mismatch Studio is a browser-based tool for adding live voice commentary to a stream. A studio operator opens the game in their browser, watches the live broadcast, and speaks into a microphone. Their voice is mixed into the outgoing stream in real time, kept in sync with the video, with the court audio lowered while they speak.

Studio runs in the browser, so there is nothing to install and no equipment beyond a computer, a microphone, and headphones. The studio operator does not need to be at the venue.

Studio is included with the Pro streaming tier. It commentates a stream that is already running, so you start and operate the stream as usual (see Stream Control).

Two roles are involved:

  • Administrators assign a studio operator to each game.
  • Studio operators (any users in the organisation, once assigned) open the games they are assigned to and commentate them.
