Common issues
Section titled “Common issues”Status shows “Disconnected”
Section titled “Status shows “Disconnected””Your microphone is on but your audio is not reaching the broadcast. This is usually a connection problem on your side.
- Toggle the microphone off and on.
- If it stays red, refresh the page and go on air again.
- If it continues, check your connection (see Weak or Poor network below).
Listeners hear an echo
Section titled “Listeners hear an echo”Your microphone is picking up the game audio from your speakers. Use headphones.
You can’t hear the game
Section titled “You can’t hear the game”The preview audio starts muted. Click the speaker icon in the control bar to unmute it. This affects only what you hear, not the broadcast.
Your microphone isn’t detected
Section titled “Your microphone isn’t detected”- Allow microphone access when the browser prompts for it. If you previously blocked it, enable it in the browser’s site settings and reload the page.
- Check that the correct microphone is selected in your browser or operating-system sound settings.
Your level is too low or too high
Section titled “Your level is too low or too high”Use the volume slider to set how loud you are in the broadcast. Values above 100 (Boost) raise a quiet microphone but also amplify background noise.
Weak or Poor network
Section titled “Weak or Poor network”The network indicator shows your connection quality. On Weak or Poor you may hear dropouts:
- Use a stable connection with at least the recommended 8 Mbps download and 2 Mbps upload.
- Close other applications that use significant bandwidth.
